This guide covers all 21 current CarboCore GCC grades. Listed grades are candidates for evaluation; final suitability depends on the individual technical data sheet, particle-size distribution, surface treatment, moisture, formulation and processing trials.
Applications are indicative and subject to the selected grade’s chemical composition, particle-size distribution, surface treatment and processing characteristics. CarboCore’s technical team supports customers in selecting the appropriate grade for their formulation and manufacturing process.
Source selection based on CaCO₃ purity, whiteness, and low silica, iron, and magnesium impurities.
Limestone sorted, crushed, and checked for moisture and contamination to maintain consistent mill feed.
Controlled milling and air classification target each grade’s D50, D97, and oversized particle limits.
For coated grades, stearic acid dosage and processing conditions controlled for uniform treatment, with coating content and hydrophobicity assessed.
